On July 15th, we’re dedicating a day to pray and meditate on all the challenges facing our country and our world during these unprecedented times. Certainly we are experiencing one of the biggest hardships in history during this global pandemic. In countries around the world, there is war and disease and poverty and injustice and civil unrest and so many things that may pull us in different directions. We are all touched by these challenges, literally everyone … grieving, feeling lonely, hopeless, living in a world of anguish and fear, yet pushing on with our daily lives.
Let us focus on what unites us on July 15th and thoughtfully consider how we can enrich our community and make it a place where each member feels supported and welcome to contribute and belong. Let us be the light for those yearning to come out of the darkness. And to love each other, no matter what. |
At 8:30 p.m., as the sun sets, our faith leaders invite you to attend an online service available below and on Facebook Live. Reverend Randi Hicks Rowe, Pastor Marilyn Kasperek and Lay Minister Brian Scott will lead us in prayer and song, and help us to reflect on bringing peace into our lives so we can bring that peace out into our community.
