The Newfane Central School District is supported by organizations such as the PTSA, Friends of Unified Sports, and Friends of Music, each dedicated to enhancing student experiences and fostering community involvement. Volunteers can contribute by assisting with events, supporting fundraising efforts, and actively participating in programs that promote inclusivity, arts, and academic excellence.
>> PTSA
The PTSA is a volunteer group whose success depends on YOU! Anything you do to help benefits not only our children’s school environment, but also helps to bring home and school closer together. The Newfane PTSA is made up of three branches. They are the Executive Committee which is the elected officers; the Executive Board which are the officers and chairpersons; and the General Membership which is any person who has purchased a membership for the Newfane PTSA. When you join your PTSA, you also become a member of the National PTA and the NYS PTA. The PTA’s purposes are aimed at providing the best possible environment in the school, home, and community for all children. We welcome all volunteers. PTSA is open to anyone interested in the needs of young people. We encourage everyone – parents, grandparents and friends to join. Please join us and help us add to their learning environment.
>> Newfane Alumni Association
The mission of the Newfane Alumni Association is to create, promote, and foster connections and relationships between alumni, district, and community. Our vision is to establish an independent and self-funded organization with a board of directors by the year 2022. The Association aims to create scholarship opportunities, mentoring programs, networking platforms, and various programs to benefit the youth of the Newfane Central School District via fundraising. The Association will also create a catalogue of Newfane history and memorabilia, a full service information store for past classes to facilitate reunions, networking events and platforms for alumni, as well as opportunities to award our distinguished alumni.

Newfane Central School Friends of Music is a volunteer group dedicated to supporting and enriching the district’s music programs through advocacy, fundraising, and event support. Volunteers help by organizing concerts and festivals, assisting with fundraising efforts, and providing support for student musicians throughout the year.
>> Friends of Unified Sports
Friends of Unified Sports exists to create opportunities for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities, beginning in 2018. One of our original goals was to provide grants to students participating in Unified Sports. We are proud and excited to continue this program. To get involved or learn more about our mission and goals, contact us or fill out this application.
